In your experience, what are some positive things about working with Ryan?
"Ryan has a positive, can-do attitude and always searches for a way to solve any problem. He always looks out for the wellbeing of his team and tries to ensure everyone has a healthy work/life balance.""One of Ryan's best qualities is his passion to learn, and to make himself and those around him better. He has a colossal aptitude for learning, which is driven by his passion.""Ryan is a unique talent. He is very dedicated, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work. He is always willing to be a resource to the team. He excels in his ability to teach as well as continue to improve his own knowledge base.""Always willing to help."
In your experience, what are some areas Ryan could improve in?
"Learning to say no. If he already has too many projects/tasks, pushing back on those who are accepting the projects without thought or care to how or when it can realistically get done.""Making time for himself during the day. Ryan needs a healthy work life balance as well.""Please understand that when I say this about Ryan, it also applies to most of the technical people I know, including myself. The one area in which we could improve, is time management. Being as versatile as Ryan is, keeping tasks organized is tremendously difficult.""Ryan is exceptionally good at handling a large work load however I would say he could be better at setting boundaries for himself to ensure his own efficiency."
Do you have any special memories of Ryan?
"That one time I "stole" his Powershell script and rewrote it in Python and then took all of the glory. (I say this tongue-in-cheek - this was a collaborative effort in which we accomplished something great and both learned a lot!)""Ryan has been a colleague and mentor for my 3 years with our current company. He has lent himself as a consultant and teacher to my own technology knowledge base and has collaborated with me on several client projects.""Working on multiple projects together such as NEST and Torrance County. Also attending the ConnectWise conference in Florida."
Do you have any concerns about Ryan?
"None!""No""Only personal ones. I want Ryan to make sure he is always making time for himself, his family and his health outside of work. I would encourage Ryan to continue to challenge himself from a tech standpoint (when he has the time to do so) in order to stay up to date on things."
